High School Recruiting

Gridiron Imports has a strong network of private boarding and day schools.  We work to place prospects who want to do their high school in the US and then pursue College Football.  Many of these schools send their coach or an admissions officer to our Showcases. Our services in this area include:

  • Assistance with the application process 
  • Assistance with financial aid application process
  • Editing of highlight film
  • Interview preparation
  • Secure web platform to showcase player profiles to be contacted by interested colleges or schools
  • Feedback and advice on schools/programs once acceptances are made
  • Assistance with college recruiting during your high school expereince.

Thomas Aronokhale

Thomas Aronokhale from Innsbruck, Austria was playing for the Swarco Raiders at home. Through our services, we found Thomas a home at Linsly School in West Virginia. Thomas spent his junior & senior season at Linsly & gathered Division 1 scholarships offers from Buffalo, Ohio, Akron, Ball State, Central Michigan and some others before signing with Ohio University in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) in the 2019 recruiting class.

Tobias Braun

German Tobias Braun, who attended Brook Hill School in Texas and Salisbury School in Connecticut had offers from Oklahoma State, Florida State, Oregon, Texas Christian, and Minnesota amongst many others at the BCS/FBS level before signing with Ole Miss of the SEC. He is a product of our recruiting and placement services and a two time participant in our College Cap tour. 

Gerrik Vollmer

Gridiron Import family member, Gerrik, a former Hamburg Blue Devil, completed a highly successful Post Graduate prep year at Taft School in Connecticut racking up several awards along the way before signing a letter of intent to play at the University of Virginia of the ACC. 

Noah Nnabuo

Noah, one of our originial Gridiron Imports family members and a former Stuttgart Scorpion standout, played two seasons of high school football in Southern California at Santa Clarita Christian High School. He took part in our 2017 College Camp tour before accepting a scholarship from Delaware State University.

Christoph Henle

Christoph put together 3 very strong high school years as a Tight End and Defensive End in Texas.  The former Swarco Raider took part in the Gridiron Imports 2017 College Camp Tour and picked up offers at Kentucky, UConn and Vanderbilt along the way before opting to sign a letter of intent at Baylor University of the Big 12.  

Joshka Gustav

Joshka, a fomer standout for the Hamburg Blue Devils and impact player at Aquinas High School in Southern California, worked with Gridiron Imports for college recruiting support and landed a scholarship to Colorado Univeristy of the Pac-12.  

Konstantin Hellge

Konstantin was a  Post Graduate prospect that arrived in the US through our placement program.  After a strong season, Konstantin, formerly of the Berlin Rebels, signed a letter of intent to play college football for FCS powerhouse University of New Hampshire starting in the Fall 2019.  

Leon Schmid

A Munich Cowboys product, Leon worked with Gridiron Imports to secure a Post Graduate spot at Suffield Academy in Connecticut where he earned a scholarship to FCS Bryant University in Rhode Island.  Leon also took part in our inagural College Camp tour in 2017.

Matthias Staalsoe

Hailing from Denmark and the Coppenhagen Tomahawks, Matthias did a Post Graduate year at Taft School through Gridiron Imports' services and also took part in our 2017 College Camp Tour.  He finished his freshman season at FCS Univeristy of Maine in 2018 and will be a big part of the Black Bear offensive line for the next three years. 

Rafal Szymanski

The first Polish member of the Gridiron Imports family, Rafal had a great two year career at Rabun Gap School in Georgia.  A participant in our 2018 College Camp tour, this Wide Receiver grew into an Outside Linebacker/Defensive End prospect and is committed to the University of Houston now.  

Simon Krizak

Another one of our original imports, Simon did a Post Graduate year at The Hill School in 2017. After a tremendous season and continued academic excellence, he earned a scholarship to FCS Bucknell University of the Patriot League. He is a proud alum of the Stuttgart Scorpions and is in the midst of a great career for the Bison. 

Max Plank

Max, a former Vienna Viking, left Austria to play two great years at Wyoming Seminary Prep in Pennsylvania. The Defensive End signed with Division 1 University at Albany of the Colonial Athletic Association- arguably the top converence in FCS football. 

Tom Maier

Tom started his football career in Germany for the Munich Cowboys before moving his academic and athletic talents to Rabun Gap School in Georgia.  After three years, he was rewarded with a full scholarship in 2020 to D1 Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina. 

Tim Burgartz

Tim started his career with the Düsseldorf Panthers before a standout performance at one of our Showcases.  This led to Tim finding a new home at Kiski School in Pennsylvania.  He eventually signed with Division 1, University of Maine.

Lenard Kuehl

Lenny spent two years at Casady School in Oklahoma City after starting his playing career in Bavaria, Germany with the Fursty Razorbacks. A dominant Tight-End, he is signing with Division 1 Toledo of the MAC in December 2020. 

Erik Bokisch

Erik started his playing days with the Elmshorn Fighting Pirates before attending one of our Showcases and dominating. Now after a three year career at Salisbury School in Connecticut he is set to sign with Division 1 Villanova University in December 2020.
